I have had a good look at reviews, money saving expert & taken on board your recommendations. SO...I've just picked up a Medion 350 for £449.99 & it comes with a free bag, from Woolworths. This has more 'things' on it than their other model, also the battery life was bigger, it comes supplied with software Microsoft windows XP, SP2. as was suggested. Thank you all again, Now I'm off to have a play.............. Elaine

I think Medion quotes 2hours 15minutes for this model. This is about right for most laptops. Enquire about the cost of a replacement battery though....the cost of some can be over £100! :)

http://www.gadgetdetective.com/

Good site for checking out almost everything techo even a section on laptops? Although I'm a bit loathed to consider paying out £1,200 on a laptop!
