Local Fethiye contributions have been coming in to the Culture Centre (behind the Fethiye sign in town), items were already being distributed while we were there today.
Items needed are head torches, fire fighting gloves, industrial shoes, fire hose…see photos attached.
Local businesses have given what they can, a few local restaurants have been taking up vans filled with food for the fire fighters.
A huge thank you to everyone for there support.
These fires ‘will’ eventually come to an end, the skies ‘will’ again become clear, until then our hearts and thoughts are with all those fire fighters actively fighting to put them out
