Christmas cheer

May I wish all fellow CBF members, moderators and Head Honcho, Keith, a Very Merry Xmas and a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.

We've, sadly, lost a few over the years but they and their contributions to the CBF experience will always be remembered. And we should remember those who have lost loved ones and those still recovering from either covid or other ailments, and those awaiting overdue treatments.

Although we're not all in the same boat, so to speak, let's hope we can all get through the next several months and, maybe, get back to something like normal, at least by 2022. And normal to me will be going down to the Fish Market and having a great evening.

Hi Jondo, thanks for the message and your kind words. We all need to remember that while we may not be able to have everyone we want round this Christmas, some people lost the chance to have certain loved ones around any Christmas because of the pandemic.

Rather poignant day for us today. We lost my dad 6 years ago today and my mum in April this year so missing them both this year.  However, at 89 and 96 respectively when they died we have loads of very happy Christmas memories to look back on.

Wishing all on CBF a very happy Christmas and a much improved, safe and healthy New Year. Hopefully some of it spent in Calis.
