NOTICE FROM MUĞLA GOVERNORSHIP SANITATION AND HYGIENE BOARD
HOLIDAYMAKERS EXEMPT FROM THIS WEEKEND'S CURFEW
Muğla Governorship Sanitation and Hygiene Board have announced that domestic and foreign tourists in Muğla are EXEPMT from the curfew due to take place on 27-28 June.
The relevant section of the circular sent out by the Muğla Governorship stated the following:
"In order to prevent loss of reservations and sales from tours over the weekend, local and foreign tourists who have already booked will be exempt from the curfew.
They are able to use beaches, visit museums, ruins, historical, cultural and religious monuments, tombs, and go on booked boat tours as these bookings are exempt.
The curfew will be applied as follows during the YKS examinations.
Saturday 27 June: 09:30 to 15:00
Sunday 28 June: 09:30 - 18:30
All Turkish Citizens and Foreign residents living in Muğla MUST comply with the curfew.
People taking the exam and using public transport to get there as well as relatives dropping off the students will also be exempt.
During the lockdown, bakeries, markets, grocery stores, and butchers will remain open.
