I’m pretty sure you can show both legs at check in and they’ll send your baggage all the way through

When I say show both legs I mean both flights, don't you be turning up at the airport in a miniskirt

Hi Karen, I have no idea if this will be classed as one journey, so that your luggage goes straight through, but hope so for you. Would be interested to hear if it is so or not. Can I ask why you didn't book all with either Turkish airlines or with Trip.com? Cost I assume?

Hi Lissa yes it was around £25 / £26 p/p cheaper to book it this way (via Skyscanner) as opposed to booking thru Turkish Airlines direct...
I think I may send them an email and check this out cos I just know I’m going to have my worrying head on about this!

Iv sent one as I’m now really worried about the luggage thing never thought about it on booking.

Try calling their office at Dalaman on 0252 792 5291. Or better still, ask a Turkish speaker to call.

Karen I wouldn't worry about this at all, when you get tot he check in they'll either send it through to final destination or tell you they can't and that you'll need to pick them up and check in.

I can't see why it will be an issue sending them through to your last airport, they aren't fussed where/how you booked things.

I have been given a tip on saving money on domestic flights in turkey but not sure how much it does save.
A Turkish friend has offered to book our internal flights for us from Istanbul as she says they are much cheaper to book in turkey than the UK.
I remember a similar situation when we were looking to book flights from Sharm El Sheik to Cairo, they were showing around £20 but the site wouldn't allow you to book them at that price in the UK only in Egypt itself.
just wandering if the same applies if you book domestics actually in Turkey.
