For the English nation massive respect admiration and fondness. From culture music sporting heroes to the rich history and their unique humour and of course my mainly English friends in both Turkey and Spain ( even though they take the p about my horrid accent!!!)

For the North of Ireland - and roughly half of England -being dragged against its will out of the EU  to be ruled by a rump of throwback  intolerant chinless wonders with absolutely no mandate in  Belfast to do so- I have utter contempt

Sadly your ignorant rant says all we need to know about yourself and certainly I hold no such animosity against anyone

I certainly haven’t had a rant merely pointed out that your posts are offensive as you constantly insult those who don’t agree by referring to them as “gammon”.
By using this term it points to you being quick to judge and make assumptions about people.
However Iam not prepared to get in another debate about the current political situation as it brings out all sorts of people and views that create disharmony.

I think my sledgehammer forthright manner can be construed by some as belligerent but I genuinely do not mean offend

This forum is a lot " more gentle " in its exchanges than other ones I post on so I will be more careful in my approach
