A couple of dead chickens thrown into the pit every 6 months or so gives the bacteria something to 'chew' on.

For once I don’t find your comments humorous KKOB  :(

We now have the additional problem of properties being rented out and no matter how many times we ask people not to put paper etc in the toilet we know some folk ignore this request and carry on doing so regardless.

If you get live ones you can get your chimney cleaned too

Well Scunner, I didn't want to cause any further upset by suggesting that they should be used to clean the chimney and then chucked in the s**tpit. But, now you've mentioned it.......

Have you ever tried to catch a chicken that's just come out of a chimney ?  ;)

Good point. I'll put them in the cesspit first.

Don't forget to freeze them first.

I think if you are renting a property out it may be best to weigh up the cost of canalisation (mains drains) as people do not look after your place as well as you do.If there’s an option to flush or put in basket ai suspect a lot of people flush. You also get the imbeciles that put nappies and sanitary products Down the loo.
