Sadly a visit is no longer possible.......... All trace of the Rosemary has gone.

The premises have been divided into two small units and one is a bag shop.

Any one know if Bekir has a new venture elsewhere ?

Suspect they wont be the only casualties if this coming season is as poor as last - landlords want their rents in Euros or Dollars, while the bars and restaurant trade on a daily basis in Lira.

It wont be popular with a few on here but the best thing that could happen for many small businesses is the Lira to make a decent recovery against the main currencies, GBP, EUR & USD.

That is so sad!! Rosemarys was my favourite restaurant.  Lovely lady there.  I shall miss it.  Hope they can find somewhere else.

Was superb food there, problem was as they told me that not many people wanted Turkish food and it was never busy.

The Turkish Lokanta experiment was 3 years back I think.
The last two years have been a top notch "International" menu - sadly no more Beef Kulbasti to look forward to.
