Fethiyespor made it 3 defeats on the trot when they lost 2-0 in Istanbul this afternoon to Pendikspor. Despite making 4 changes to last weeks starting line up the hosts went ahead right on the stroke of half time.Just as the game went past 90 mins, Pendik scored their second goal and claimed the 3 points.Fethiye move down to 11th in the league but that could change as this was the first game of the day in Lig 2.
A much sterner test at home for Fethiye next Sunday when they entertain Hacettepe from Ankara who are currently 5th and unbeaten this season.

Fethiyespor could only manage a 0-0 draw at home against 10 man Hacettepe this afternoon to make it 5 league games without a win.Fethiyespor playing in a rather unfamiliar all red strip shared an even first half with the visitors from Ankara who played in what looked like a Fethiyespor strip of blue and white striped shirts and white shorts, which confused some of the locals sitting near me.
The second half was a much better affair with reserve striker,22 year old,Manchester born Berat Jonathan Ustabasi seeing his shot come off the post on 49 mins Ustabasi was only playing as Fethiye had a striker shortage with Aytac Deniz,Emir Gokce and Cemre Atmaca all out injured.
On 54 mins Hacettepe were reduced to 10 men after Volcan Kilic received a 2nd yellow card.On 59 mins Ustabasi missed a glorious chance after beating 2 men only to shoot just wide with only the keeper to beat. However the game remained at 0-0, with the point seeing Fethiye in 13th place in the league, but now only 3 points above the bottom 3 teams.
An away game next weekend against Kahramanmaras where Fethiye lost 3-0 last season. Also the home side have former Fethiye striker Ugur Erdogan in their team who was joint top scorer for Fethiye last season.

Fethiyespor made it 2 draws in 2 games when they were held 2-2 at Kahramanmaras this evening.Fethiye took the lead after only 4 mins with a goal from midfielder Huseyin Atalay.Former Fethiyespor striker Ugur Erdogan equalised for the hosts after 19 mins.Just before half time the hosts were reduced to 10 men after defender Alis was shown a straight red card and Oktay Pop scored from the resultant penalty.Kahramanmaras got their 2nd goal after 70 mins but Fethiye managed to hang on for a draw, despite having midfielder Yildirim and striker Ustabasi both sent off in the last 10 mins for 2 yellow cards.Fethiye stay 13th in the league on 9 points.
Fethiye are in Ziraat Cup action on Tuesday night when they travel up to the Black Sea to face Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor.Hopefully Rize might have one eye on their home derby in the Lig next Sunday when they entertain neighbours Trabzonspor.  ;)

Fethiyespor lost their 3rd round Ziraat Cup match 3-0 this evening against Rizespor.Fethiye made 5 changes to the team that started on Sunday and had 7 players missing due to injury and suspensions. They included 16 year old Anil Aricioglu and 18 year old Enes Dada in their line up.
Their hosts made 11 changes from their last Super Lig match and it was Polish striker Tuszynski who opened the scoring after 9 mins.Turkish U21 international Emrah Bassan made it 2-0 after 58 mins and Rize got their 3rd 2 mins from time.
Fethiye return to league action on Sunday with a tough looking home match against 4th placed Amed Sportif who ended current league leaders Keciorengucu's unbeaten record at the weekend, and beat them again tonight in the Cup.

Fethiyespor made it 7 league games without a win when they lost 2-0 at home this afternoon to Amed Sportif from Diyarbakir. The first half was pretty even although the game got rather feisty just before half time.
The visitors picked up all 3 points thanks to 2 goals in 5 minutes of the 2nd half, on 66 and 71 mins and thats the way the match finished.Fethiye are down to 14th in the league with 9 points from 9 games and are just 2 points above the relegation zone.
Away match next week for Fethiye when they travel to play Konya Anadolu Selcukspor who are 4 places and 2 points above Fethiye. However on their last 2 visits to Konya , Fethiye have won 1-0 and 2-1.  :)
