KKOB - surely, what you're describing isn't exactly an Olympic event?
Or maybe, what you have in mind can be described as that.
Hopefully Justin Rose and Danny Willetts (sp.?) can do well at golf.
But how can golf be an Olympic sport when squash is not?
Darts next? No training - practice only.
Surely there's a difference between pursuits that you have to train for and those that you merely have to practice to perfect?
Tiddlywinks. No training to be good at that, merely practice.
As much as it's mocked, synchronised swimming (or underwater flower arranging using human bodies) requires incredible amounts of training and years of dedication to perfect).
Some Olympic sports are just plain silly and as much as I love watching golf, it's NEVER an Olympic sport.
John Daly could get a gold medal at that.
