We came back to find that there had been a bit of a flood that had affected the bottom of the walls in salon,kitchen and hall. About a foot of plaster above the skirting board has fallen off. The insurance company will cover the cost. What we need to get a quote before we can get the repairs done, does anybody know a reliable builder who can do this work?

I can also recommend Paul Cherry, he has done quite a lot of work for us in the past & is currently doing some more.
A warning though, if you want cheap prices, & use of cheap materials you won't get it from Paul.
However, if you want a good job done at a sensible price, using good materials.

Been quoted £35 for two cupboard doors to be fitted in kitchen, good quality the guy said. Is this price reasonable? Also couch covering for 2 couches £250 approx. Any feedback appreciated  Thanks
