Catch 22.  We all have to have insurance of one kind or another.  None of us want to use it, however, if we are offered it on good terms and conditions we take it.  It seems simple to me, what else should we do??

I insure again with Staysure who paid my extensive private hospital bills, flew Hilary and I back to the UK, escorted by a doctor, and drove us by ambulance from Heathrow to our front door. Thank you Staysure. And thanks for covering me for another year.

Personally I don't classify EAF's terms and conditions as good so that's why I wrote my "warning" here.
If you're aware that only state hospital is covered and if you are okay with that, no problem. As long as you're aware of it.

Slikmrs isn't going to Turkey so she doesn't have to worry about the devlet hospitals. Hopefully neither of you will need to use your insurance.

Staysure is rapidly going downhill unfortunately and has started to refuse payments to both Esnaf and Letoon hospital

 Most of us never claim so we're novices in this respect and it becomes a bit of a lottery.

I would not discuss these very personal individual things on an open forum, neither would I go for an insurance cover based solely on the price.
