It may not be true but it is in the news that Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended because of a "fracas" over punching Oison Tymon when, after a days filming there was no food for him to eat. I no way condone violence but know how a lot of men react when left hungry!  
Would you get rid of him?

So why are you making a judgement on it and asking others to do the same ?

However, it's strange to see that the BBC now seem to have indicated that they find allegedly punching a member of staff far more serious than "kiddy fiddling" or groping young women.

Where did I make a judgement? I know it is not a proven fact and said so. I would not be surprised if the whole thing just blows over and the programme goes on as usual. Jeremy Clarkson is not someone I personally dislike. My sons enjoy watching the show and I occasionally watch it as well.
Why so defensive
I don't think the show would be the same without him but he does court controversy.


As regard to molestation of children and the attitude of the BBC that is awful and not unfortunately confined to the BBC.I do not wish to bring this aspect up though and would hope the BBC has learned its lesson.

When I heard that Clarkson had been suspended I thought "Good" . But then I realized that the death penalty had not been brought back.

Yes I went on one of his walks years ago when I lived in Turkey. Lovely day out and he was a very good guide! Good to see he is alive and well and hasn't changed!
