I can't think of any team that hasn't bought the PL title. Well done City - you spent well ;-)

Blimey Stoop with Wenger's record on spending money, you can hardly say that Arsenal bought the PL.  Perhaps because it was so long ago you probably forgot about the wins, mind you it is not as far back as a certain Yorkshire team when they bought it, er. sorry won it.

Firstly - no Yorkshire team has ever won the PL. Leeds were the last winners of the old First Division and if you really think we bought that then your memory needs jogging  :)

Blackburn were the first to do it in the PL - no doubt.

Arsenal always appear not to spend much but if you look a bit deeper you will see they actually do.

Didn't Blackburn offer Shearer so much that he turned down Manu?

Would you like to give us some figures on that sandgrounder, compared to a certain Mr Abromovich who changed the whole Premier league to what it is today.  ;)  ;)

Without Googling Des I can't give you the figures but surely your memory isn't fading that fast. Jack Walker invested Millions at Blackburn and Kenny Dalglish bought the best and most expensive players at the time.
