It's easier to tie a knot in a shoelace than a ships rope

Last time we were there, it was about 11.00pm.  There were queues at the Ladies and Gents and someone had to run and tell the Staff that the toilet paper had run out.   By the end of the night the ladies looked like a war zone,  Bins full and over flowing etc.,

Thanks for sharing that with us Your Maj. I thought you carried your own supply of bog roll delicately perfuming paper.

I'm sure it must have been traumatic for the Ladies and Gentlemen In Waiting.   ;)

Unfortunately, I cannot carry lavatory paper (that is what posh people call it) In my small designer evening bag. ;D :-*

We will have to try this restaurant in June, having met Yil on a boat trip he said he often played at the Letoon and other venues and as I am a big fan of saxophonist Kenny G as he is I am sure it will be a good Saturday night

                                         Roll on June  8)

Went walkabout in Kaya this morning and called into the Istanbul.
Sat around the swimming pool and had a fresh orange drink, weather was very good after last nights thunder storm.

In October we are renting one of Engines bungalows for our six month winter visit.

Checked out the toilets, there's just one of each not exactly wheelchair friendly as there are two large steps which ever way you go in. Engine has talked about getting a portable ramp for the bungalows but I don't know how far he's got with it. his girlfriend Emma is here this week so we won't see much of him.

We leave for home on the 28th, we know it's time to leave as there are lots of very white bodies on display. Surprised at the number of Germans about many more than previous years at this time.

Most of the restaurants we use in the area seem to just have the one toilet so I suppose they do get a bit over run in the high season.
