Thanks for that Simon. Disregard my previous post about the Cinema showing the game. When I went in to ask how much the tickets were, they said they were not showing the match. The poster outside with all the upcoming Films was just to advertise the game that most people will not be able to go and see.  :(

Fethiyespor had a night to forget as they made their home debut in Lig 1 last night. They were trounced 4-0 by fellow newcomers Balikesirspor and down to 10 men after only 65 minutes before the match was abandoned after the referee was hit on the head by a missile thrown from the crowd. The TFF will now have to decide what the outcome will be, but Balikesirspor should be awarded the points and Fethiye's home game on the 15th Sept will probably be played behind closed doors.
Fethiye were second best before the sending off and the visitors had the man of the match in Ghanain Kwame Karikari who scored 2 and made one.Fethiye are away to Samsunspor next Sunday.

Were you at the game?

Fethiyespor gained their first points of the season with a rather flattering 4-0 win over Bucaspor this evening.Roared on by all the women and children packed into the main grandstand,Fethiye took the lead on 15 minutes with recent signing Artun Akcakin scoring. However Bucaspor were the better side and debutant goalkeeper Sammy N'djock was by far the busier goalie.
However goals from second half substitutes Emre Okur on 72 mins and Ahmet Aras on 80 mins sealed the win for Fethiye.A superb free kick from Onur Okan one minute from time was the icing on the cake.Fethiye move up the table to 15th but have a difficult away trip on Wednesday to play 5th placed Ankaraspor.

Fethiyespor succumbed to another defeat this evening at the hands of high flying Ankaraspor, losing 2-1 in the capital.Ankara were 2-0 up at half time before Artun Akcakin scored his second goal in 2 games to reduce the deficit.A late red card for Ufuk Bayraktar means he misses Sunday's home game against Sanliurfaspor which is again to be played in front of women and children only.Fethiye are now down to 17th in the table.
