Guitar / Flute
« on: March 18, 2013, 17:37:23 PM »
Hi
I play guitar with a flortist in England, mostly Celtic stuff. Is there a flortist (music reader) I could meet up with in April when I am in Fethiye ?

Haha, I read your post and thought it said "I play guitar with a florist" I wondered why you needed a florist in Fethiye to play with. :-[
Speed reading is not my thing. Good luck in your search for a flortist.

Actually, it's flautist or flutist.  :)

I'm told I mispelt it as well......... "flautist" it should be. (spelling is not my thing!)  Well if I can't find one, a florist will have to do. Then I can wave some gladioli about like Morrissey.

There's definitely a good florist in Calis.  He goes round all the bars and restaurants and it sounds like he's saying "full-house" when he tries to sell his flowers!  (Not knocking him, my Turkish is far worse than his English - and his flowers last for ever!)   :)

Just a thought - there's a guitar group that meet up weekly in Calis.  If you go there, you may be able to ask if there are any flute players around that they know of.
