« on: March 09, 2013, 08:12:08 AM »
I have recently received two very official looking emails supposedly from Fedex a delivery sevice informing me there is a parcel waiting collection .I am supposed to click to print off a reference number and go and collect . Obviously a very clever scam so be warned.

That one or variations of it have been running for years. They use the big names like FedEx, TNT, DHL, UPS etc.

I have had this a few times too.

The latest scam was to our restaurant email asking to make reservations over two days for 10 people to be seated at two different tables. It was all very precise, no typos and good grammer.

The big give away was the deposit they were offering to pay, 4500TL and they hoped we could accept credit cards.

I don't think so!
