I was taking photos as the goodie bags were being distributed and looking at them on the camera each time I took one it seemed to be missing something - the noise (obviously!) so I took that short video to share with you all. It's a bit shaky for the last few clips as Mrs Scunner was filming - but thought she was taking photographs actually as I forgot to turn it back from video to photo - but glad of the mistake as they add to the excitement theme

Just watched it on  FB Keith and no doubt will do so another few times before the day is over.
It's humbling to think that our children have so much yet a few skipping ropes and hula hoops can cause so much excitement for those less fortunate.

I was actually there sniff sniff and I still get tears in my eye when I watched this. One of my most moving days since I started on the committee. I know that the others there were equally as moved and we have seen some really poor children out here...

I cant forget the little boy and girl who clung on to their bags because they were worried someone was going to take their things off them and that Kadriye and Keith had to show some of the children how to skip and when we got the bag of footballs out there was so much excitement that you wouldnt believe it... Because they have never had a ball. Can u believe it?? and then a lollypop. well.!!:D

Lovely to see their happy faces, makes you think how lucky some of the kids in this country are with their computers and mobile phones.  It's a different world out there.
