Tins of golden syrup are currently at their last price (son fiyat) reduced from 29TL to 7TL in kipa.

How much?!!!! crips and to think that I paid 84pence the other week.

In September I took a tin to our friends Selma and Figo at the Melodi Bar in Fethiye, he looked at me as if I had lost my marbles, he still has the tin, I don't think he has a clue what to do with the stuff.
I tried to tell him to water it down to a pouring consistency to go with his pancakes (poormans maple syrup as this is sooooo expensive in Turkey) so if you are in the area, please call in and give him an hint for other uses.

Not recieved yet, was there today, but Figo is using the syurp on pancakes and his customers think it's great
