OK they had to curtail the event to 54 holes, but a huge, huge congratulations to the organisers of the Scottish Open.
The world's top golfers were generous in their universal praise for a course that was only created some 3 years ago.
Huge praise too for the BBC commentary team, including Wayne Grady, Peter Aliss and our own Ken Brown who waxed lyrical not only about the superb course but also the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
The last few days, leaving aside the weather if that is possible, must surely have given the area huge boost to the tourist induistry.
Well done lads and lassies:D
