after reading all the replies about free this free that,I have come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for.
I would rather go to 1 person who knows what there doing and have 1 port of call, rather than messing around with a poxy box that may or may not work.

Getting free satellite is a lottery, always has been and always will be.
Sometimes there is loads open, sometimes there isn't. We are going through a bit of a drought at the moment but it's just one of those things.
You should really look at it as a bit of a hobby. It's interesting if you get into it. If you do your research and keep upto date with the latest bits'n'bobs there is loads you can do - but you sometimes need to fork out for a new CAM or even a new STB if you want to keep the channels.
With the right equipment you can even get SLY for free through c*rd sh*ring etc.

At the end of the day you have to understand that's its illegal and there will always be a cat and mouse between the channel providers and the hackers. Just take what you can get, when you can get it!

Hi Denniz,
I've lost most of my stuff (i've only got dishes pointing at 5e and 13e and there's not much left on those)
I keep thinking about buying a cam and installing another dish but i don't get much tv time at the moment so it's not a priority.
See what the winter brings....
