Anybody got this?

One off payment, no subscription and (apparently) you get 'the best of' BBC & ITV plus 80 channels plus HD on some.

In theory I could get the box and bring it here, set up a dish and hey presto, instant free HD.

But can I?

Freesat is no different than it was before if anything you will be worse of in the future because ch4/5/e4/more 4 and the rest will be moving to astra 2d which will req a min 3 mtr dish. where at this moment you can get a way with a 2.4meter dish for ch4/5 this has been misleading in many ways. itv have been testing in Hd that will be going to astra 2d as well

Echostar does that mean if we get a Free Sat box and a 3 mt dish set up in turkey that we can pick up from Astra 2 the channels you talk about and possibly ITV in the future?

If you get any old Sky digibox you can get BBC1 & ITV now with a 3m dish.

Thanks for that keith, yes firo you can have it now as keith has posted.
the only thing you will not get BBC2/BBC3/4 And channel 5 requires a card but is not subscription.
you will find though because of th 2 hours differance you will be staying up late not unless you got a recorder.
just think you can go out for a meal or what ever and still be back in time for coronation street.

Very true, the time difference does make you shift your life 2 hours later. Match of the Day is often Match of the Yesterday, Mrs Scunner enjoys watching Fern and Phil on This Afternoon, and News at Ten is actually News at Midnight.

Any one know where to get a 3 mt dish and what are the costs like. We still have our Sky+ box and can get my son to get us subscribed through him as a second set but prices are vital. Our neighbour is interested in sharing a dish with 2 LNBs so if anyone has any info and prices please let us know.
Cheers
