I thought that was normal for Turkey.
We live in a 5 Bedroomed Duplex, (we don`t use 4 of them) we have a washing machine, dishwasher, electric toaster & kettle, microwave/grill, fridge-freezer, freezer, electric shower, electric backup for the solar hot water, etc.
Why is it so low ? I have no idea, maybe it`s cheaper here in Koycegiz. Even when Scunner & family are here. :D
We did get a refund on our water bill last year as they made more money than they expected.

Maybe it is that wire you twisted illegally round the main supply

Hey Highlander that oil bill is not too bad. Our bill this year in Uzumlu was 1100 YTL and its been quite a bit milder than last year.

about 4 months. It also includes heating the water if there was not enough sun for the solar panels.

unfortunately, heating fuel is not subsidised so you pay the same amount for your central heating diesel as you do for your cars fuel. The upside is that we probably wont be using it now until next winter, fingers crossed.
