Air conditioning units
« on: August 10, 2020, 12:01:37 PM »
All being well we will be over in about 2 weeks time.  Expecting to need to replace at least one of our air-con units.  They are over 16 years old now and one in particular is playing up.
Does anyone have a very rough guide, ball park figure, for the likely cost of supplying and fitting a modern unit, probably both the internal and external parts.
I do realise it can be very variable, but just wanted a rough idea so as to set an expectation level.
Thanks in advance.

I bought one about 5 years ago and from memory it was about £400/500 for a Mitsubishi inverter air con.
You can get cheap as chips but the inverter units are cheaper to run so worth paying a bit extra.
