"Meet and Greet' procedure at Manchester
« on: February 10, 2019, 09:21:03 AM »
Has anyone used this since the time restrictions and charges were put in place last year?  I just wondered what the procedure is as we used to drop the car off / collect at the front of the terminal  with no hassle at all but I believe you now have to drive into a very busy drop-off area and get stung for charges because the queue to get out is a nightmare!

Blimey, some nightmares there!
The company we have used over the years have been fine and were always there waiting when we arrived.  No issues with damage either so looks like we've been lucky.  I just don't want to pay for  a service and find we're stressed trying to find somewhere to drop/collect that's a good way from the terminal or having to find ticket machines to pay etc.  A lot of companies are very good at being creative with their descriptions!!

I have used eazey park for the last 5 or 6 years with no big issues the only thing is them being 10 or 15 minutes late but that’s the problem with the new restrictions I have decided to use jet parks for the first time and will see how this works

If you mean the Airport official Terminal 2 Meet & Greet it is NOT a meet & greet :o

You drive in, they tell you to park in lane 4 or whatever, you take your keys into the office and then walk 1 minute to the terminal. Nobody meets you, and nobody greets you  :)

I've used it quite a few times and although I went unmet and ungreeted, I would recommend it without hesitation.

We used the official meet and greet for the first time last year, would recommend it as well. Previously we used a firm that would meet us at the drop off area and take the car away. They were really good as well but couldnt fit us in last year.

No meet & greet:

How it works

Drive through the sheltered inspection area where our cameras will record the current condition of your car, so you can be sure it'll be returned in the same condition.

Pull into the allocated lane and unpack your car.

Drop your keys off with one of our trusted team at the Meet & Greet reception, just a short walk from check-in.
When you return, your car will be waiting for you.

We're going from T1 but will look into it for a quote - sounds OK.  Thanks
