Jeremy Lloyd was best known for his quintessentially British sitcoms written with David Croft - Hi-de-hi, 'Allo 'Allo, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and many more. But this afternoon I remembered, and played, a wonderfully silly "novelty pop song" that he composed - "Captain Beaky". RIP Jeremy Lloyd.
