Registering a second hand car
« on: January 11, 2015, 11:23:31 AM »
I'm thinking of buying a pre-owned car that is currently registered on Turkish plates, has anyone had recent experience of the procedures involved in re-registering the car to a Yabanci? Thanks  8)

not sure if the bikes are same procedure as cars, (would have thought yes but this is turkey), if so, when I bought mine, I had to go with the owner first to a notar in Fethiye to check all paperwork and then hand over money.  They then gave me a temporary registration with new number valid for 3 weeks in which time i  had to go to Mugla with the old number plate and have a new Yabanci number plate made to show it is owned by a foreigner. If cars are different then I am sorry for wasting your time in reading this  :)
