Apparent it is always booked way in advance, same people, same fortnight every year and it is a home from home like being in the heart of a Turkish family.I have a friend been going 16 years and swears by it ,saying Dr Can and his family can't do enough for you.it is nice to see a small family business beating the big guys

Steve A - you've got it pretty much spot on there.  We've been coming to Calis 12 years this year, but will be our third year at these apartments.  Booked for this year before we left last year, just confirmed flights when we'd booked them.

The apartments themselves are pretty simple, nothing fancy but plenty of room and decent cooking facilities.  Air con, safe and use of beach towels are all included in the price you pay per night so no hidden extras! Rooms cleaned to a high standard every day.  Good pool and bar area and authentic Turkish food cooked every day if you want it.

It's close to everything in Calis, beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, Dolmus stop, Sunday market and Aqua Park!

But it's main draw is Can, Mary, Cem and all the staff there.  To say they make you welcome would be an understatement and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

They deserve all the praise they get   :)

Well I imagined it would be the Mutlu, but have no idea and will look!

I suppose it is all "in the eye of the beholder" and depends what you want. If you want to be on the Beach you wont like a Hotel that isn't, if you want just accommodation you wont like somewhere that is Half Board etc. over the last 5 years we have stayed at he Mutlu once and another Hotel and the Rebin Beach which we love because of its overall performance and the Multicultural clientele plus the very good food 3 times. But the regulars at the Mutlu would probably not like it!

I will go and look now  :)
