I use googlemail for emails ,now i cant get to it because they are changing to Gmail ,i have opened a new Gmail a/c and email address ,no problem but i cant get back into google mail for my contacts and other saved bits any ideas ,why alter something when it runs ok .

I use googlemail and haven't had any problems accessing my account - so far. But every time it "offered" to update me to Gmail I just declined - i.e told em to shove it. They just want to railroad you into a "one account serves everything" setup, makes it so much easier to keep track of your every move. Call me paranoid but .......

Lance, try opening your emails through Internet Explorer - should work.

I switched last year sometime. Works fine. No spam and no problems. Quicker writing gmail as well
