Disneyland is one step closer
« on: April 06, 2012, 19:16:28 PM »
A friend of mine sent me this link http://megaparkturkey.com/   and http://www.facebook.com/pages/Turkey-Megapark/225058470865180?sk=wall

Ive heard romours in the past regarding this and now it seems true.
As a parent with 3 kids it gives more options to a holiday in Turkey other than pool/beach.
we have never visited this area of Turkey so not sure how this will impact the area. For me Turkey is big enough to stage such a place.

It would be good to hear others comments ( if any ) on what they think.

Looks like very early days. However, if this is the location next to Belek then you have lots of golf courses and an airport nearby making this more attractive to visit. However, very different holiday to the Fethiye / Calis variety.

It is true - I had heard from Andylyn about this new facility and there are plans to have captive dolphins.

Russian travel agencies are already being targeted to ask them not to support facilities with captive dolphins.

There is a letter in Russian with an English translation on the documents page of the Free the Kas Dolphins Facebook page if people have a few moments to spend copy and pasting. Email addresses are at the bottom of the document.

http://www.facebook.com/groups/freethekasdolphins/docs/

It is titled
LETTER TO RUSSIAN TOUR COMPANIES and you can access it by just following the above link and scrolling down the page a little.

Please join the group while you are there if you haven't already, thank you.
