Interesting advice from the BBC this morning, in the shadow of the teetering giant Thomas Cook. It's actually hard to find a method of payment for flights/holidays where you don't have cover in event of airport failure in one way or another - but one exception is holiday vouchers - often given as wedding presents and the like.
If Thomas Cook go bust (and there is a chance of that), your vouchers are worthless. If you go spend them this afternoon or as soon as possible - on flights or holidays - you would get all your money back if things go pop.
Worth sharing.
