For anyone wondering where to buy them, I saw both double & single size for sale in Boots at Manchester airport. Given that this was airside, might save someone leaving a pair of shoes behind  :)

They're not essential kit, I've certainly survived without them for 20 ish years. It was just that some people were asking a few weeks earlier where they could buy them & I couldn't be bothered to look out the original thread
