Our main PC just will not connect to the internet. It was "down" when we got back from Turkey at the end of August and we have tried everything.
We have wireless broadband with BT, with a hub phone etc. Our girls laptops are still picking up the wireless connection, so there's nothing wrong there! Hubby rang the BT Broadband helpline, and an hour later, the bloke gave up, saying he just didn't know what was wrong!
I don't mind putting the computer in for "repair" if there is a real problem, but I don't want to pay a £40 minimum charge if its something simple!
Has anyone got any helpful suggestions, but keep them simple cos I'm not good with computers, lol [
