Can I just ask those of you who rent, do you charge an extra day for the day you are going home, for example, if you are going for 14 nights,do you charge for 15, i've never known it, and not sure if it is a new thing, cheers.

I was just searching a short time ago laffa and one I came across said that the place would be available from 2pm on the day of arrival and had to be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure. I would have expected that to be on the 15th day after 14 nights.

It depends on what time you check out and whether the owner has guests booked in as you leave

We just use common sense, if you arrive at our villa before 00.00 to to 04.00 hrs we will charge for  that night but if you depart before midnight we won't , it works both ways.
Hope this helps

We were charged 20tl on one occasion but generally used to pack after breakfast and ask to use a shower before departure (using the morning's towels)

Our friends who rent operate in the way Highlander says.
Checkout is at noon, but if you have a late flight home and nobody is booked into the property on your departure date, they let guests use the accommodation free of charge until they leave if desired.

The replies are exactly what I thought, and have been doing for many years, we are staying for 17 days and have an overlap, and need to move to let other people in, so although we are booked and paying for 14 nights, we can only stay for 13, then move to another apartment for 5 nights, which again they want to charge for 6, which means we would be paying 2 nights extra for the holiday, thanks for your replies,
