Does anyone know how u can hook ur laptop up to the tv

All depends on connections. If its a new TV then you can connect by DVI or HDMI connections for the best picture. If an old tv with just scart connections - you can buy one of these at Maplin - see http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=35910

most laptops have suitable outputs, older ones have SVHS.

Is your TV LCD or plasma?
Most have VGA output (check if your TV has a PC Input, will probably be VGA) this will give a good picture as the TV becomes a monitor.

New laptops have HDMI making connections easy.

The GoldComputer shop in Fethiye were very helpful when we went in there to get the same answers. We took our laptop in and he provided the cables.
