Some of you will know I have been looking into organising an Introduction to DSLR camera course facilitated by an experienced and qualified trainer for some time.
I have now found someone local who fits the bill and we are looking into the feasibility of going ahead.
At the moment we are considering a 10 week course - 2 hours a week - venue to be confirmed but probably in the Çalis area - in the months September - November, dates to be confirmed and taking place most likely during the afternoon.
So, if anyone has a DSLR or bridge camera and is interested please let me know.
Learning outcomes - you will develop your knowledge and understanding of:
- exposure
- histograms, aperture and shutter speeds
- camera modes and when to use them
- focusing modes
- depth of field for creative photography
- ISO white balance and the exposure triangle
- compositional tips
- which lens to use when and why
- accessories and what they do
This will be achieved as you:
- familiarise yourself with your camera settings
- cover specific issues
- apply and practice knowledge and new skills
- take, view and share images
- discuss techniques
- feedback and evaluate your own and others images
